Stand Up For Your Pizza Rights!!!
The last few times I’ve been to get pizza, I’ve left the premises far from satisfied. And it wasn’t the actual pizza to blame.
I just get sick and tired of those “deals” these companies advertise contantly on television. Specifically, without mentioning any names, the “if you don’t get it in two minutes, your next pizza’s free” company.
For quite some time, our local outlet of this national pizza company has simply not been able to supply what I wanted within the two minutes. That means, according to their blurb, that I am entitled to receive a voucher which I can use next time to get a free pizza.
But boy… do you have to have a fight to get your voucher.
They certainly don’t just “give” it to you.
You have to ask for it… and then the assistant disappears to “ask” someone else about it.
Last time, the manager actually came out to have a look at the time on the (computer generated) sales docket, then looked at his watch, and said “oh it’s only just over two minutes”.
Was he hoping I’d say “oh yeah, well don”t worry about it then”? Forget it. The deal is two minutes or less, or I get a free pizza. The fact that it was well over five minutes doesn’t matter.
How many people stand up for their rights when they go to places like this?
Do you think I’m being pigheaded when I ask for my free voucher? Bugger them… I’ve got a large family to feed, so a free pizza every now and then is a bonus to us!
And how many people double check how much they are being charged when they order their fast food? The last two times at this place, I was charged $2 extra - the first time by mistake (maybe), but tonight… had to have a fair tussle to get my 2 bucks back!
What’s going on out there in Pizza land?
