Say Hello to The Internet Cynic!
This is the place where you can have a chuckle, or ponder deeply, some of the more (in)significant meanings of Internet life in a modern world…
It’s entirely up to you how you take what you read here… with either a grain of salt, perhaps a truckload, or somewhere in between.
All I know is that as an Internet “veteran” (since 1995) I’ve pretty much decided the Internet is stuffed… or at least severely broken, and needs to be looked at from a new viewpoint!
Hoping I’m not totally alone in this, I needed a place where I can vent a little… unload the sarcasm weighing me down.. so here it is - Welcome to the Internet Cynic!
So… what started me on this recent journey?
Perhaps dealing with too much spam recently, or it could have been the hours wasted last weekend fixing my PC infected with a malicious spyware attack.
Or is it that lately my internet marketing efforts all seem to be a gigantic waste of time?
Or maybe it’s just the time (New Years now) to put things into a better perspective!
Whatever the reason why (see the RHS column for all our dumps), I do hope you can sit back and enjoy the ride… and if you feel you want to unload some of your frustrations, then please do so… If it’s not too libelous or rude, I’ll gladly publish it!
And being a New Year… what better a time to re-launch the new and improved version of The Internet Cynic using the WordPress platform… only to discover that my installation is out of date and needs updating… again! We’re off to a great start!
